ENVIRONMENTAL AND CONTROL ENGINEER; ENTRY LEVEL

 

Job Responsibilities: 
 

- Perform engineering planning and design in process control of water and wastewater municipal projects.

- Develop plans and product specifications.

- Assistant to prepare Construction Cost estimates.

- Provide engineering support services during construction.

- Travel availability in the State of Florida and Latin America.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:
 

- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis and innovate techniques.

- Familiarity with Water and Wastewater Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).

- Familiarity with Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

- Familiarity with Power Devices and Instruments related to Water Treatment Technology

- Proficient drafting skills using Computer Aid Drafting (CAD) with both Autocad Software and Microstation Software.

- Proficient in MS office, word and excel, data bases and knowledge of industry standard computer software.

- Work well in a Team Environment.

- Knowledge of controls and instrumentation for water pumping stations.

- Knowledge of controls and instrumentation for water lime softening systems.

- Knowledge of controls and Instrumentation for wastewater treatment systems.

- Bilingual English-Spanish communication skills is a plus.

 

Required Education and Experience:
 

- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineer or Environmental Engineer- equivalent. 

- Two (2) years of practice-relevant experience in municipal water and wastewater Environmental Engineering.
